I’ve been playing the drums since I was 5. I went to a fancy music high school, majored in music at Humber College and graduated with honours from the Music Business program at Harris Institute for the Arts. I am a really good rock drummer. I can lay down a heavy groove and play with a click all at the same time. I’ve played all kinds of shows and done some small tours of Quebec and the east coast of the USA. Check out some of my drumming here.
While in school for Music Business I took a basic web design course, I was hooked. I’m a fully self-taught Front-End Web Developer. I started out making a ton of indie band websites, wrote my own CMS using PHP and MySQL and started working at an indie record label. From there I moved into a Senior Web Design position at a company that makes sites for international recording acts. I’m currently work as a Front-End Web Developer at CTV (formerly CHUM) doing all of the XHTML/CSS for sites like Much Music and CityNews. I’m a huge advocate of Web Standards, Accessibility and Usability. Check out my portfolio or my blog posts on Web Development.
Winter can never come soon enough, I love snowboarding. I’m not very good, and people usually have to wait for me all the time, but I’m gonna work on that this winter. I’m always up for snowboard-based road trips, call me! Here’s what I have to say about snowboarding.
